I know some people here do weight training. Has anyone used Rip Fuel or any supplements like it? Did it work or have any adverse effects?

I am trying to tone up what mass I have and heard it might help me.

I know natural rip fuel is allowed in Iceland, and that's basicly guarana and stuff like that to give you a little extra endurance. However REAL rip fuel, the stuff that works is basicly Ephidrine (think that's the right spelling). Which is illegal in Iceland. Ephidrine with guarana ginseng and stuff.

I havent tried it and i'm almost afraid because my blood pressure is WAY too high. I did go to a heart specialist and he said i was GREAT shape and he said that i was in very good shape (i guess he's more used to fat ppl and less athletic ppl). But i dont want to risk anything so ..

I've used it, and other supplements like to finally, due to cost, mixing my own ECA (Ephedrine, Caffine, Aspirin) stack which is essentially what Rip Fuel is plus some other "helpful" fat burners. Essentially, rip fuel is designed to energize and extend the thermogenic fat burning process. It is a fat burner, not a weight/mass gainer. In other words, it'll help define your physique more and more...but...here's the warning...

Rip fuel and other stacks like it (by stack I mean supplement combos) are not safe with for people (like me, that's why I don't use it anymore - though I did for a long time and enjoyed the boost I got) with hypertension / highblood pressure. Many are able to use this stuff without any ill effects, many can't. As with all supplements, before taking it, get a check-up to make sure you are in the proper health to use the stuff. I didn't realize I had high bloodpressure until after a year of using the fat burners, I did have days where I really pushed it too far, probably came close to a heart attack. Scary....

Bottom line, rip fuel is a energy booster, fat burner. It is relatively safe for many and if taken properly. More is not necessarily better.

Note: Rip fuel also comes in an ephedrine-free brand, not as effective, but still a good product.

Yup, basicly what RFM said. Iceland bannes Ephidrine, so we sell the Ephidrine free Rip Fuel. I ONCE! took a rip fuel pill, and i have high blood pressure (no aparent reason tho), i could feel my heartbeat go up and i had trouble breathing. That's ONE pill, i've known people to take 7 pills at once.

So if you have ANY heart problems i dont recommend this at ALL, even tho my blood pressuer is only a bit high and my heart is just about perfect it had this effect on me. So be veary when using this.

hey all....

like mentioned above, rip fuel is a fat burner, not for bulking or gaining mass.
in order to gain lean muscle mass, all you need to do is workout and get plenty of protein [at least 20 - 30 grams in each meal] and a low to medium amount of carbohydrates [approx. 15 - 20 grams with breakfast and lunch].
with a low amount of carbs in your diet, you won't gain fat, but you will still have energy to workout. plus carbohydrates are necessary for brain function.
without the carbs, your body will enter ketosis an d start burning protein for fuel, which is bad because you need the protein to gain muscle.
i have used androbolics [a precursor to testosterone, reputed to help gain muscle] and found that they don't do much other than make me angry at the world.
