Really David, please tell me why they are getting locked. Am I breaking any TOS rules? Or are you just locking anything you can't control?
This really is childish behavior. If you don't want to discuss politics, then don't. But don't ruin it for everyone else. The political threads get alot of replies.
I recently went on a binge of starting many non-political threads. I don't believe any of them hit 3 pages (or even 2). But the politcal ones hit double-digits alot. So it's obvious people like to partake in those discussions.
So in short, I am ASKING you to be mature about this and stop letting your personal bias affect you role on the site. If I start breaking the TOS terms, then point it out and have Gene ban me. But if I'm posting within all the rules, the threads should be allowed to continue.
