Here's the fight video:

http://www.fightvideomma.com/2011/08/anderson-silva-vs-yushin-okami-2-fight.html

The first round you can tell that Silva is just getting comfortable. He settles in, finds his distance and timing for the second round.

Seriously, Silva's skill level is ridiculous. When you see him fight like this it's like he just has SO much more experience than his opponents. Like there is a HUGE gap in skills.

I'm curious about his rematch with Chael Sonnon

Anyone's skill is ridiculous when the other person doesn't fight back.

He fought back. The problem was that at the end of the first round Silva had already figured out Okami's timing so it shut him down. He rocked him with that kick and I think it scared him.

Second I dont know what it is about the group down in brazil there training is great. The distance the timing they all seem to be good and silva is the pinnacle of it.

Lets make one thing perfectly clear, when Anderson is on his game, he is unbeatable and when he is OFF his game, he can still beat you if you make just one mistake.
To beat him he has to be off HIS game and YOU have to be perfect.

I would love to watch Silva and GSP fight.

Silva has the size and weight advantage and I am not sure of GSP has the skill to overcome that since Silvas' skills are also exceptional.
But anything can happen.

you guys watch the original fight between him and okami? Silva lost by disqualification. He pretty much did an inside crecent/hook kick off his back to okami they called it an upkick which is illegal in ufc and most venues. Silva was coming from pride at the time and was familiar with the rule set. talk about talent.

Not sure how much influence Lyoto had on them, but Silva always had that timing.
The tend to aim to the "body center mass" and let the punches find their way.
