The Ad just says they cleaned out an estate of someone who owned a "dojo" (lol, that always kills me...)

I don't think they're antique or much beyond your typical assortment of kung fu weapons. I think maybe the estate sales people think they're antique because you know, none of that stuff has any modernity about it at all.

I didn't realize that juggling pins constituted antique Chinese weapon - unless, mayb Uki has it right all along!

If that picture entails all the weapons included, I would say it is hardly worth the asking price. Looks like all the normal manufacture type stuff you can get at martialartsmart.com, except used.

Yeah, they are asking waaaaayyy too much for that.
I can buy daos and gims downtown for less than 30 bucks a pop.
Crazy right? But true.

TCMA weapons are dead cheap here except for larger more obscure stuff like long pole weapons.

Although, I would mention that some of the older modern-made weapons were better in quality than what is commonly available today. However, these look pretty standard. The only thing that catches my eye is the butterfly knives in the upper right hand corner of the top pic that hskwarrior posted. It's unusual to see modern mass-manufactured butterfly knives with indented forte - that's more characteristic of a genuine antique. However, it may just be home-made, or a version that escaped my attention. I'd have to see it much more clearly before making any sort of judgement.

Yeah, those butter knife like butterfly knives are weird compared to most others you see. also the pu di dao with the black handle looks oldish.
