what a bunch of little pu**ies. They deserve some serious humiliation-along with a stiff dose of pain.

hopefully they'll have an empirical lesson on why you shouldn't beat defenseless people in a cozy federal "pound-me-in-the-ass" prison.

Humans can be very predatory, especially in a pack and especially when they are young and stupid.
This is nothing new and the strong ( in numbers) preying on the weak ( in numbers) is older than history.

True, but unlike animals that are out for a meal, if this guy could just hurt one of them the rest of the punks might pull back on a second thought.

Perhaps, the pack mentality in humans is like any other pack mentality- a cost/gain ratio.
Make the cost seem more than the possible gain and the pack "breaks down".
Of course this is an unknown factor But under the circumstances if one has no choice ( escape being impossible) then taking as many of the SOB's with us as possible can give at least some satisfaction.
If you are gonna go, go out big !

there is way more to the story that people are not seeing here.

one girl ratted out all the guys names, but she also shed some light on the situation. according to her, the this video was payback. It seems that the guy getting beat down was part of a group of kids that jumped the attackers so they jumped this guy in return.

i don't condone jumping anyone but payback is payback.

This is what happens when people FAIL at teaching their children well.
There is a lot of this today.

Kids desperate to be somebody.
Pathetic.

That is what happens when the government takes away your right to discipline your child. Kids don't fear nothing because as parents they're not given anything to fear.

This and the fact that popular culture glorifies the gang life more than ever before. You have shows like Gangland that spend 50 minutes making criminality sound cool and exciting, and maybe 5 minutes with a bit of a caveat at the end. Kids in the suburbs using gang jargon and trying to act hard.

A lot of people seem to walk on eggshells around their children and let them be the boss, which is why so many think they're entitled.

I also don't agree with the popular notion that kids today are necessarily smarter than the kids, say, 30 years ago. There are kids who are highly evolved human beings, but they aren't the majority that I've seen. People tend to confuse access to and familiarity with more advanced technology with being smarter and more mature. Well, yes and no. Sometimes more of one thing leads to a deficiency in other areas. Like anything else, it all comes down to the individual.

Quite correct, society has glorified the "gang" and criminal activity.
Of course this is nothing really new per say but I think that it is more prevelent and more far reaching than ever before.

Agreed. I suspect the overwhelming lack of emotional intelligence and maturity in kids today results from the lack of proper parental guidance. I think it was Freud who said that learning how to deal with frustation is part of the maturing process.

Greetings,

It is sad when situations like his happen. It could have been worse.

I think situations like this would drop significantly if the parents of the children were called into question and charged. That would introduce a level of social responsibility that has long been gone from our communities.
