Here's my cover story on him from our 1999 December issue (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/magazine/article.php?article=105): More Martial Monks! (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/magazine/article.php?article=106). It's rather dated now.

Xinghao is mentioned in my book, Shaolin Trips (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57311), Matt Polly's book, American Shaolin (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26966), and the PBS documentary, Shaolin Ulysses (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=36328). He has also appeared in a few other feature articles in our magazine over the years.

Yep. I Trained under Shi Xing Hao for several years and also enjoyed it very much. There are a handful of us students scattered around here and there who been around the shaolin scene here in Houston since the early days. A few still post here.

I train at Shi Yan Feng's school now in Sugar Land since it is so much closer to home and the class times are just awesome. There are a few monks here in Houston now and I will say they are all good and each have their own style of teaching. I have the utmost respect for all the Shaolin masters here in Houston. Good luck with your training!

I have personally never trained with him, but I know him, he and my Master are brothers, he is a very nice guy. Welcome to the Houston Shaolin scene, or should I say the Texas Shaolin scene.

We've been posting some highlights from our 10th Anniversary Gala (http://www.martialartsmart.com/dvd-ca107set.html) to inspire our upcoming 20th Anniversary (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/info/tournament/index.php).

We just uploaded Xinghao's demo: Shaolin Warrior Monk Shi Xinghao (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkzMq60GWFI)
