Ok list your classics, not confined to Kung Fu mind you.

Here is a start in no particular order:

Enter the ninja - remember Sho Kosugi - he was huge!

Forced Vengence - a Hong Kong Chuck Norris adventure.

Blood Sport - good old JCVD

Circle of Iron - sorry had to slip it i know its not strictly 80's - 1978 David Carradine.

:D

Code of Silence - IMO, the best movie that starred Chuck Norris. (1985). Not technically a MA film, but has a bit in it. It's a great crime film.

Above the Law - I liked this Steven Seagal film, his first. Like Code of Silence, it was also directed by Andrew Davis. (1988).

The next one isn't an '80s film, but close:
Kill Or Be Killed (1979). A South African MA film that was so bad it was good...but the karate scenes were pretty good. It had an inferior sequel in 1981 called Kill and Kill Again.

These are MA films from the West. Many of my fave classic '80s Asian MA films can be seen listed in the Kung Fu Espresso thread.

Cant forget the Octagon, has given way to many comedic moments in the studio!

Can't forget Jackie Chan's first American film: Battle Creek Brawl (a.k.a., The Big Brawl), 1980.

The Shaolin Temple (1982). Jet Li's cinematic debut. That film rebuilt Shaolin.

There's a drinking game that you can play with my book, Shaolin Trips (http://www.amazon.com/Shaolin-Trips-Gene-Ching/dp/1424308976/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1276188031&sr=1-1). Every time you read a reference to this film, take a shot of some fine single malt. ;)
