The description is labled in German. It says that the name of the Form is really "Shaolin Quan". From looking at the form it seems for me like a mixture of Lohan Quan, Qixing Quan and maybe a bit Modern Wushu.

Kind Regards,
Xian

Hello,

Yeah, this form is called 'Shaolin Quan' or 'Guiding Quan' (Exam fist).

It is NOT an old form. It is a modern form cobbled together seemingly randomly from a selection of classic shaolin forms like Luohan, Taizu, Qixing, Pao Quan etc. Forms that do not belong together. The result is it looks very messy no matter how good the performer.

It is used in exams and competitions in DengFeng. There is also a Guiding/Shaolin Dao, Jian, Qiang, Gun.

It's been to long since I have seen it, but it may be a form that is sometimes called "The 40 forms of Shaolin"

It's basically a mad sampler of shaolin curriculum in one set used for recreational programs or introductory programs and sometimes as a demo set.

As far as I know, it's totally modern.
