Almost appears to be an entry-type form that focuses on moving and throwing sow choys. There are some other techniques but this could be called the "sow choy" form for sure.

yup. We have an uppercut form....of course other techniques are in it but the primary focus with it is the uppercuts.

Definately similar in terms of the focus being on one main element in this case uppercuts. Is that a hung sing form (meaning old) or something created to help students with uppercuts?

Either way its all good, just curious.

its exclusive to my lineage. my sifu put that together and yes it was to focus strictly on uppercuts. to give them an idea of the many ways we can launch an uppercut. from single shots to set ups.

so in saying, yeah its a newer form. but what matters most is if he understands and is able to use the techniques. he had just finished this form when i filmed him.

That last one was definitely different. Had a lot of short hand techniques and in some area a bit of hung or joe gar like flavor.
