Sad news indeed. I just found out a few hours ago via a Gung Fu Brother. I never got to meet my Si Gung but felt his teachings and spirit through my Sifu Buck Sam Kong and his teachings. He influenced so many and had a long full great life. He will be missed. My deepest condolences go out to his family and students worldwide. RIP LAM JO.

It's very sad indeed. Oneday you just find out that everybody above you are all dead, and you are the "oldest" generation.

I wouldn't call it a tragedy. He lived a long life and passed on the art of Hung Gar to many students and thousands of grand students. RIP Grandmaster Lum.

So "THEY SAY",

You know whomever "THEY" are...That you can tell the quality of a persons kung fu by how long they've lived.

Lam Cho was obviously one of the best then.

I'd like to think that it's also by how many peoples lives he's influenced...yet again another indicator of his quality.

RIP, Lam Cho

Back in the 80's I asked Master lam Jo about the bai si.

He told me already in the time people were not sincere in they vows so he did

away with it.

I also asked him about the various pictures of him and Master Geng De Hai.

He mentioned it the realationship started back in the Lam Sai Wing era.

Master Geng De Hai always favored watching Lam Jun Hin play Pek kwa dan do.

Master Lam Jo was a really great man. May there be longevity in his name and

arts.
