So after 6 years in law enforcement, i'm calling it quits.

I'm a bit jaded, but I found a new job that gives me a 3 dollar raise and costs 300 less a month in family benefits. Plus they are better.

It's a simple job. I'll work in a dairy cooler shipping you guys milk.

Not glamorous, but it's a good, honest job without politics.

Congrats on the new job!
Something tells me you will also have more time for your family, yes?

More time for the kids, probably less for the wife. At least at first.

And yeah...was totally thinking about the GOMAD the whole time I was interviewing, lol.

Another thing i'm pumped about is that I don't have to shave or cut my hair. Ever. Again.

I'm gonna look like I should be on Duck Dynasty.

Good one James!

You and the anthropomorphic personification of primordial chaos in the dairy delivery business.

I'll be honest Simon, I have no idea what that means.

Um... In a Terry Pratchett novel the fifth horseman of the apocalypse quit the group and started a dairy delivery business. I suppose, in retrospect, it might have helped to not assume you'd read the same books I had. ;)

when you carry the milk bottles, do it vigorously with courage and honor.

Indeed. This is how I will carry every gallon:

Ronnie Soak AKA Kaos

Oh interesting idea for a fifth horseman. Why did he spell it that way?

I might have to check this Discworld out. Looks pretty large.

I was just reading about it too.

What's the first book? Thinking about giving it a read. Looks good.

He wanted to differentiate human fear of primordial disorder (Kaos) with modern complexity theory (Chaos). It's actually important to the plot, believe it or not.

Ronnie Soak appears in Thief of Time - it's one of my fave non-Sam Vimes books.

The first Discworld book is "The Colour of Magic" but I wouldn't necessarily start with that one. I'd suggest starting with "Mort" (the 4th book) as he began to find his legs a bit better by that point.

Each book is a stand-alone story although there are on-going narratives across volumes. "Mort" is the first of the books focusing on Death and his family.

What's with the pleonastic tautologies?

That's utterly rediculous! Get it...utterly and he's a milk man...sigh

Do the one gallon of milk challenge everyday as soon as you get to work.
