I have some dit da jow brews that I've made up, some of which have been going for nearly four years.

Anyway I was thinking of bottling some of it and I hear you need to filter your brews before bottling them.

Does anyone know how you should do this?

I tried searching this forum and a google search but didn't find anything.

Any help or advice would be really appreciated.

You don't have to filter it--just pour it off. The lees at the bottom of the bottle is not a problem. When sold commercially it is filtered for a better appearance. Just line your funnel with two or three layers of cheesecloth.

I bought a stainless steel sink strainer that I fit over a beer making bucket and then pour the brew through that.

I got mine at Williams and Sonoma but you can find them at cooking websites.

Cheesecloth means you have to handle the herbs and putting your hands in your herbs can contaminate them.

Wear gloves, and use the strainer into another container and then you can refill your container with liniment that has been strained fully.

Let me know how I can be of service.
