At least it would smell good while you are having your way with it.

shiiiiiit, you call that rag weed over there smokable? yall best stick to the concentrate, son..... :p

L, u think the name change will take??? He's been snoopdogg in the public eye for over twenty years. Unlike cats like sean combs who had a name change every ten minutes. So what is he gonna do now? Some sort of hybrid of mad lion??? I can't stand people who fake accents for songs. WTF, right? If you're gonna sing or rap like an islander you best be an islander.
That reminds me of another topic, why do british singers sound like north americans?

ya i dont know, i like snoops albums, i always liked his rhythm. i just actually heard about this name change on the radio yesterday....honestly...it sounds silly to me. if he wants it to stick, i think he should drop the snoop part. from the way he tells it the snoop dog is actually a connection to snoopy the cartoon character.

on the radio they said that he got permission from the marley boys to dedicate the rest of his musical career to bob marley.

has he already put out any sounds?

i will say this though, you spend enough time on the islands you will get an accent. i spent about 4 months in trinidad and i walked away with a bit of a tweak. went away fast, but i could see after a few years it would be genuine...though not too thick. but part of it is its hard for those guys to understand your accent, so it makes communication better if you learn the dialect a bit and speak with a slight accent to make yourself more clear, then it also helps you understand the natives when they speak fast with a lot of slang.

Yeah... I know this lil whitegirl who was born and raised in Trinidad. It's a real shocker at first, shorty steps up with the ghetto trini patois and she does NOT look the part. She cool tho.

I never heard anything about the Marley stuff, I just read that he wanted to jump on the reggae thing. It did not specify what kind of reggae. It's quite a broad term when you get into it. Like saying "rock". WTF does that even mean anymore, right? All "rock" tells me is that it's prolly a 4 or 5 piece special. Guitars and drums.

I liked Snoop when The Chronic came out, but I haven't really payed much attention to the guy since like '96. Not my kind of hiphop. I'm a b-boy and that whole MTV rap thing was never attractive to me. I'm not a snob purist or some g33k backpacker with paint all over my hands, but I do appreciate the lesser knowns a lot more than the platinum kids. For me it's about music and culture, not commercialism and "stuff". IMO snoop sold his soul over 10 years ago.
