It's like a weird sense of anger, jealousy and the ultimate facepalm all in one.

For one of these people to exist, literally hundreds of thousands, even millions must live in significant poverty.


Is this a good thing or a bad thing? I can argue both sides pretty well, I think.

The only thing I can say is, it has always been that way and it will never change.

Even the few times in history when the poor overthrew the wealthy they just became the new super rich and became what they once despised.

I view it as an unchanging characteristic of life. The young and idealistic always think it will be different with them, but when power, control and opulence are concerned, they aren't.

The wise prefer to be like Chuang-tzu's "turtle in the mud".
