Choy Lee Fut Question.

i'm curious to see how far choy Lee fut has grown even past my own generation. So my question is, how many generations are currently in YOUR lineage?

In the Yuen Hai/Lau Bun lineage under my sifu i believe we have 8 or 9 generations today.

Our lineage is not so popular. Only six generations to my time. Don't know for sure if there will be a seventh. Lots of people learn but few have the interest of passing it on. In my Bak Sing lineage it is even worse. My teacher (third generation) authorized only two of us to teach. In other lineages Chan Heung styles have gone as far as a ninth generation. Bak Sing maybe up to sixth or seventh.

i am 5th gen buk sing, i know of my classmates students teaching a bit so that would make a 6th and 7th gen.

i am teaching again a little and have four guys right now plus my sihing and one of his students coming so that is cool.
