There's no actual such a thing in a modern sense and it is the source for movies and mysteries and goth kids to talk about how brutal their oppression under the illuminati is. :D

If you want to look at groups that are of that ilk IE rich people making decisions behind closed doors that effect the planet in essence then look at the IMF, The Bilderberger Group and the UN. these are the umbrella groups of wealth elite and leaders who make decisions about the rest of us.

A good example of how modern government is disconnected from the will of the people is what is happening in Gaza and Israel right now.

Do you think the regular people want that crap? No, they don't. Hamas wants it for political gain and Israel government wants it for same. the trouble is that hatred is seeded with the people when they are told by their government that they are under attack from an enemy. In truth, their enemy is their own government or the government somewhere else. It is almost never "the people".

People just wanna have their home and family and be warm and live a somewhat meaningful life. Politicians and wealthy people are often consumed with hubris and lust for power.
In richer countries, people are apathetic and ignorant of this fact and that's probably why you get a lot of people arguing from ignorance and simply regurgitating what they saw or what they were told as opposed to actually understanding.

It's like a kung fu movie fan who thinks he actually knows kung fu by watching.

The person we all have to think about in regards to integrity and actions taken is our self. That's the only person you can change in any real way.
