12 keywords - lai 来

Of the 12 keywords in Taiji & Meihua lineages, there is one I still dont get "lai" 来 (come)

Does anyone have any insights ..... Im thinking something to do with let your opponent attack first, so you can counter???

And by the way, what keywords does the Ba Bu lineage use?

To me, "来(Lai)" is too abstract to be meaningful.

The 1st Zimen principle is "残(Can) - To maim or cripple, to savagely destroy".

It makes you wonder, why doesn't Zimen use "kill" as their 1st principle instead.
