This form has move that look very similiar to the WC Tang Shou.

One of my few regrets was that I skoffed at Sanchin while I was stationed in Okinawa (late 1970's, early 8os) because it seemed so simple! Now that I know a little better (I could be a legend in my own mind:D and gotten a tad wiser, I can see more of South China Nanquan in its exposition!

It's incredible how many systems were influenced by or based on this form.

I was stationed in Okinawa (late 1970's, early 8os)

My friend John Ray trained Okinawan Karate in Okinawa back in 70th. Do you happen do meet him at that period of time?

I had helped a Okinawan Karate teacher to translate a "white crane" book. He believed that was where his system came from.

This is pretty cool, thanks for sharing. I think the shirtless old dude is pretty cool. That's the way to sport the Fu when you're pushing 70!.

Personally I know these versions of "sanchin":

2 from Okinawan Goju
1 from Isshin ryu
1 from Uechi ryu
1 from kyokushin
2 from White crane
1 from SPM
1 from five ancestors

I am in the same boat as SJR, I know Uechi, Goju, SPM, Issin Ryu versions of SamChien, San Chin, Sam Bo Chien
