Hello everyone! Well, i was around YT and i found this...

My first thought was that it was a MMORPG epic weapon but... I had to post it because my ignorance can't be forever. So, the question

Can someone tell me the name (and some history) of this weapon?

A lot of the weapons used in TCMA are actually fairly recent inventions, and I'm not just talking about the wushu ones. Although, as I allude to in my MAY+JUNE 2012 cover story (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/magazine/article.php?article=1036), The Spade, the Whip and the Mountain Gate (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/magazine/article.php?article=1042), the monk spade maybe be made up too.

As for the weapon that started this thread, I'd love to hear the story behind it. There are a lot of crazy folk weapons in CMA so I wouldn't go so far to discount it completely yet. It really looks absurd, however, so who knows? Folk weapons are a huge untapped field of research.
