I share to discuss...

So, please, no cheap comments.

If you have something to say, quote the video and the timeline, or else I'll just mock you and I do like doing that.

If you want to know what works, look to the people who are using kicks in full-contact situations at the highest levels:

or better yet go out and try it out yourself.
Like any skills it really doesnt matter what other people can and cant do. The only real question is if you can do it in a stressed situation.

Absolutely. And notice the difference between what was shown on all of these clips and the unworkable things that were shown in the OP's clip.

Some good kicks there but also alot of fluffy stuff that would get you seriously hurt in a street fight where you dont stop if someone falls

Sure, tournament stuffs and street are different. People are more conservative for street.

we are starting to see front and side kicks to the legs in MMA.

Also what difference do shoes make?

You can't always compare sports to street as they are trained to go for wrong targets.

Boots and shoes are a HUGE difference between street and MMA. Boots produce most of the damage in most street fights. Hard-toe boots bring many more kicks into play, including similarities to the savate foette.

Of course you can compare sport to street. People get kicked in the "wrong" places all the time in sport and you can see the technique used and the result.

Shoes simply magnify the force of a kick. They also make it easier to trap a kicking leg.

Good hard shoes or boots do a lot to amplify low kicks to the thigh, knee and shin, and foot stomps as well. Those are hard to trap.

It's good to train in footwear you are commonly found in. Now that I live/work in North Canada in a rural area I wear steel toed work boots or s/t gum boots nearly all the time. I do whole work outs including footwork drills in my common footwear including snow running and deep snow kicking. Rugged

And kick/stomp to the head and neck, when you have knocked the guy to the floor.
