ILHK is one of those annual Chinese New Years franchises, along the lines of AW,EW (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=59679). It's a cameo-studded goofy comedy filled with HK-cinema self-references Cantonese puns that went spiraling past me. It's been going since 2011. I caught ILHK 2012. ILHK 2013 just came out last month.
As for ILHK 2012, on the plus side, I was happy that I got the nods to IM2 (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56421) and BH (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62785). Strangely, it made living in cages in HK (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=65261) look not so bad. There was that pervasive HKers versus foreign devils (this time, in the guise of professional wrasslers) and the Angry Birds ending was just too silly, but the IM3 spoofs were amusing.
