Reffering to the teaching style of gm Ip Man, it is often said that he transmited VT according to the strengths, body type and disposition of the student.Even their intellectual capacity. This is often claimed to be a factor in the different versions of IMVT. Is this at all true? Do any teachers do this today or from other branches? Is this a wise concept?

Only partly true. IMO
When a student's attendance is sporadic-one can make the mistake the experience as the sentire subject.
Plus there are A, B.C, D and E students.

As a teacher I teach each student differently, but the information is the same and each student I have are different also. I dont believe in making clones. I always tell my advance students don"t copy me find your own way. I'm just a reference.

A good teacher will always encourage what's good for the individual. And will push that individual to make something their own so that it can be expressed to their full personal capability. If one realizes that Wing Chun is ultimately not a style of robots and little to no applications actually exist within the system. They'll see that it's the perfect type of training to ultimately express a natural response to a real conflict. I think Ip Man taught this way and I agree with Joy on the other points.

The integrity of the subject and helping the student's own adjustment are related but not the same thing.
