I just got back from a lecture by the noted astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson at my university. The talk was on how science is important to the future of the US. Afterwards, he answered a lot of questions and took pictures with people. Dr. Tyson took note of the Shaolin shirt I was wearing, grabbed my wrists, and turned my forearms up to look at them. He asked, "where are your Shaolin brand marks?" I jokingly told him I was still in training. It was a pretty neat experience.

I was joking with him. I haven't taken any martial arts classes for a couple of summers now. I've been extremely busy with school and work. I was taking Filipino boxing and knife fighting for a while.

He's a Charismatic. Except he's about science instead of religion. :p

You should have qinna-countered his wrist grab, flipped him on his butt, and said "You have offended my family and you have offended the Shaolin Temple." That's what a proper Shaolin disciple would have done. :p

Tempted to move this to the Shaolin forum.

It was very tempting. But one can't shake hands with a dislocated wrist, elbow, and shoulder. I let it slide...this time.
