I was looking at those, do you think they'll hold up pretty well and wont tear easily or should i just go for some black judo/jiujitsu pants? I'm using judo pants right now but i want some pants that arent white.

Do they have black judo/jujitsu pants? And no one seems to sell the judo pants only. For my KF pants, I've been wearing the blue pants from when I did BJJ. But I'm not currently in any class. So much more durable than KF pants.

The Cahill uniform is badass!!! Unfortunately you can't just by the pants, but if you want a full Gi uniform then this is my choice. I've ripped everything I own in sparring except for this uniform so I give it 5 stars. Personally I think it'd be worth the price of the entire uniform just to get the pants. The knees are reinforced and they are tough as nails.

Here's the link to the Cahill series
http://www.martialartsmart.com/11-54.html

Edit: Here's a great tip for washing uniforms, especially with this thick Cahill uniform. I really hate to roll with a funky uniform so every few washes I'll add approx. 3 cups of white distilled vinegar to the machine and wash in hot. Then run a normal cycle with detergent.

I study Kung-Fu, Taiji, Kali Arnis, Shuai Jiao, bjj/jjj and a bunch of others and have no problem wearing either type of pant. Neither does my Sifu or any other student for that matter. If you do just forms then the bloused (elastic ankle cuff) pants work great but if you roll or spar hard then I'd go with the tougher Cahill. I've got a closet full so I just pick and choose for the type of class (sparring, forms, techniques) I'm attending. If you have the money then get both and see how you like them. If your school has a dress code that limits you then go with what your instructor is wearing.

No they won't hold up well under tough conditions. Yes they make black jiujitsu pants. http://www.martialartsmart.com/11-54.html

Yes, but they don't sell the pants only. It's still worth the money for the entire uniform just to get the pants in my opinion. http://www.martialartsmart.com/11-54.html

if you're rolling then yeah i agree. that material tears easily and if you have a strong grip the thin pants are gonna be lost. for me, my guys wear street clothes while training as that's most likely what they'll be wearing if something goes down in the streets. but for light weight stuff i prefer gung fu pants.

i need manly kungfu pants The Black Cotton Pants (http://www.martialartsmart.com/11-17.html) that hskwarrior recommended are the best. That's what I wear, but I don't roll. If you're looking for something tougher, there are the aforementioned Jujitsu uniforms (http://www.martialartsmart.com/11-54.html) but then you have to buy the whole uniform and the Elites, which have a diamond weave. (http://www.martialartsmart.com/11-85kp.html)

You sure you don't want some of these (http://www.martialartsmart.com/60-22.html) instead?

those elites pretty tough? I haven't heard any complaints, but I understand that the Jujitsu are the best if you're rolling. That's what they are designed for.

As for the Chuck pants, that does take me back. Remember Chi Pants? They've rebranded as Chi Wear (http://www.chiwear.com/).

You know it takes a real man to wear a kilt.
All the way back to ancient egypt, only the best of men wore kilts.
I know they have only been official to Scottish dress since the 1700's with the revival of them, but they were around long before that with the Galacians who wore them in about the 5th-6th century BCE.

A man who is afraid to wear a Kilt is lacking character.
It's obvious to those who don't fear the weak minds of others or their spiteful eyes as they gaze with great envy upon the knotty knees of a piper.

or because we have better inventions now days and dont have to result to wrapping some cloth about our waist as a form of clothing. there is a reason it was used in the old and ancient world, and in todays world its really just a constant for staunch traditionalists and larpers, and those that seek attention.

first of all its not wise from a survival/combat perspective, as any stray wombats or wenches can just reach on up and grab or bite your jimmy and castrate you. second, its not a good idea to use outdated forms of technology if there is a better current alternative. thats why we use modern weapons in war instead of chariots, spears, and bows and arrows. wearing a kilts is akin to wearing any other outdated form of dress or fashion. its like when you see guys wearing old traditional chinese dress at a competition, but its ok there cuz its all just larping, but if he were to wear that to the office on monday, it would just be silly and foolish.

and dont forget if you get stranded on a mountain in a plane crash and its below zero, you're dead, and we'll eat you first. with those legs showing, we might just kill you outright and eat you.

:D:p

As a free speech forum, we give allowances for anti-kilt sentiment, as long as it's not derogatory.

any stray wombats or wenches can just reach on up and grab or bite your jimmy Wait, isn't that the point of wearing kilts? Some one explain...on the Kilt Wearers Unite!! (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=46827) thread please. This way we can go back on to the topic of Lucas's trousers or lack thereof. ;)

Unless you are Kanye West, then it's just weak. First the dumb glasses, then the skinny jeans, then the kilts. The guy is a twitt. That **** ain't hiphop. It's rebranding to be less scary to white people.

Romans wore them in battle.
