Does anyone know anything about sifu chong and his dummy form? It is somewhat different from what is commonly seen today in Yip Man wing chun.

Seems it's Leung Sheun's form, but at demonstration speed.

After verification, he worked in this family indeed.

You have a proper filmed form here :

And a really good essay on the mook jong by Leung Sheun by the same author.

Edit : Eddie Chong, seen him some time ago, in Pan Nam Stuff, not interesting, I think he was not really into Leung Sheun stuff as we can see his form more recently :

What's the dum dum doing with the wooden dummy in the beginning of this clip?

--------------------------------------------- He was originally with Kenneth Chun in Sn Francisco in the Leung Shun lineage and later learned some from Pan nam.
In part of the video he is just stretching his legs on the dummy before doing some Leung Shun like dummy motions....interpretations.He has his own following.

Not only did Eddie Chong trained in foshan wing chun, but he was indeed a student of ‘Pan Nam’, he’s a very dangerous man; he use to fellowship with us when I stayed in Michigan, and a very good brother in Islam.

His wing chun has a strong ‘Bak Mei’ influence and he also teaches it. You can see that influence in his wing chun by the way he puts more weight on his front leg when in application.

But his biggest followers are all based in the Islamic communities in the tri county areas of Detroit/Flint Michigan, and I’ve never met anyone that could hit harder than him, he’s truly scary.
