Cool. Not something to do drunk in case you hit the other side of the brick. Just wondering though..would that work on those new red house bricks too?

Hopefully other people having videos of breaking things, like bricks, sticks and televisions. I've only really broken televisions, toasters and microwaves, but sadly I don't have videos.

I remember my friends had an old garage that was going to be pulled down, and they invited a whole lot of friends, all martial artists, to break the place for fun. All fun and games until someone hits a nail, or something else metal...

On with the breaking...

Seriously, tho...

I'm out of blocks, but I'll be driving by the stone supply where we get ours, today.

If they're still open I'll grab a trunk full and have some fun. I have tried to replicate GM Chicoine's vertical chop, but was unsuccessful last year. Time to give it another go!

I would like to see someone break a 1/2" thick piece of oak with foot, hand, elbow doesnt matter. I see these dry pine boards that can be flexed by a child holding them for the breaker. I want to see oak breaking. Not pre cracked bats and sticks or pre sawn oak either. The real deal. Is it possible. Im skeptical. I wish mythbusters would do it.

Fight Science did a thing on breaking; you can see highlight here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfhkNS2FbWE).

Pine board with the grain: yes, a 5 year old could learn to do that in an hour.

Brick: Never tried it myself, but I don't think I'd want to try without some iron palm training first.

Ive seen that before it was interesting but left me unsatisfied for some reason. Anyone on here can break an unadulterated half inch oak board with their hand/fist? Even if you dont have video Id like to hear about your experiences with oak? note: I dont do breaking but I do enjoy wood working.

Never tried oak. Really, the only time I've even broken boards was as a kid when I went with a friend to his sister's Tang Soo Do tournament. My friend's dad was all "you could break those boards with your three fingers". So I tried it; he was right :D
