In this clip at 0.30, both persons rotate their arms from outside in with "tiger mouth" facing outward (let's call this method 1).

This method will force you to rotate your arm to against your opponent's 4 fingers. If your opponent has strong grips, it will be very hard to do so. You will have 2 other choices.

2. Still keep "tiger mouth" to face outward, but rotate from inside out.
3. Keep "tiger mouth" to face inward and still rotate from outside in.

Which method do you like it better and why?

Hi Sir,
I think I would prefer the option #2 better. keep it facing outward, but rotate inside to the outside.
It's probably my push hands training and some chen style tai ji that has influenced this decision. It seems at this point I am familiar with lots of similar wrapping/ rotating that follows the same principle as option # 2 that you gave. I like option #3 too, though- going straight for the inside centerline. Thank you I like your posts.
