“US special forces troops have ridden alongside Northern Alliance cavalry and joined in saber charges against Taliban positions.”, according to Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wofowitz. “….our special forces have taken a page from the past, from the history of the horse cavalry, with our soldiers armed with swords and rifles, maneuvering on horseback”….Wolfowitz told an audience Wednesday night.

I really find this doubtful.

Doubtful. I'd be very surprised if that really happened.

A B-52 is also an ancient but effective weapon.

Rumsvfeld held up some photos of it actually happening on Fox News. Go to www.foxnews.com (http://www.foxnews.com) and you can see some of the photos. There is a calvary charge, but the US troops are not weilding swords.

If you pr!ck us, do we not bleed? If you poison us, do we not die? And if you wrong us, shall we not revenge? If we are like you in the rest, we will resemble you in that the villany you teach me, I will execute, and it shall go hard but I will better the instruction. MOV

I was wrong.

I wonder how a group like the Nothern Alliance after years of not getting anywhere suddenly turn into an effective fighting force.

Prediction, SEALs become passe and the Green Hats become the cool SO group again.

I don't know about you guys, but "I" could not make out any US soldiers on horses.

"If" it actually "IS" true, I for one would be either dissappointed, or laughing that such a joke was acyualy effective against the Talaban. Hell, "If" it is true, then we should just send some Bikers over there, and give them free run of the country!! (Air dropping a bunch of guys and thier Harleys?)

Seriously, "IF" we actually "DID" put our men on "Horses?", then the Talaban are a joke, and were're just playing with 'em now!!!

Personaly, I think we've seen the best they have already. All they can do is muster a couple of Hi Jackings and Mail a little Anthrax once and a wile........from a war standpoint, an inconvenience at best. Besides, now our troops have a new "play ground" to go play with thier toys at.

Osama must be ****tting in his (Whatever those goofy things are they wear). He's single handedly responsible for getting his regime exterminated. Personally, I hope we don't catch him untill the end, so he can watch his precious "Network" and lifes work crumble before his eyes, due to his own actions!!! Then, I say we just throw him in jail, and let our inmates tourture him to near death, save him, heal him and then throw him back and let it all start again untill he just dies of depression and torment.

Those that are sucessful are also the biggest failures. the difference between them and the rest of the failures is this, they keep getting up over and over again, until they succeed. "The more they try, the more they fail, BUT, the more they try & fail, the more opertunity they have to succeed, and succeed they do!!"

Hey, at least they didn't put our guys on donkeys.

The $27 milliion for bin laden dead or alive should look very enticing to a lot of people now...
