Here is the thing. Those kinda of jobs were never meant for people to live off of. They are for young people who are entering the workforce. This is bad for immigrants who cannot find other kinds of work but by the same token those immigrants are entitled to food stamps and Medicaid even if they are illegal. I do not think you should be getting $15 an hour to work at fast food restaurants. My friend just got a job as an engineer and his starting pay is $15 an hour.
