Hi all,

I'll be in Guelph, Ontario in March / April for work purposes - I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any good kungfu / Yang TC schools in the city - preferably Hakka styles, but I'm somewhat flexible.

Thanks for any help - Google is never much help with these questions...

Cheers - AQ:)

There's Bak Mei in London. Not exactly Guelph, but it's not THAT far. Prolly around an hour and a half.

Not sure about Yang.

There is Chen there. And there is Taoist association.
Do you know Rob Coons?
He might have some idea, if you are friends on facebook, he might have an idea.
Bawang, you never saw any Yang while you were there?

Cheers.

There is Chen TC, classes are on Tue. and possibly a Sunday class will start up as well. Every second Tue. Jack Yan shows up to teach, small class and Jack is a great guy!

If you go to London, look up Twin Mountain Martial arts.
Sifu Steve Pascoe runs that club. He's great to train with.

Ao Qin,

If you would like to get in touch with the Pak Mei group in London ON, feel free to contact me. I actually just got back from working out with them.

Thanks very much Golden Arms - however, I'm wondering how to get from Guelph to London and back (train / bus), when training times are, etc. I have spoken with the Sifu there many years ago, and he also trained with my Si-Gung (Chow Fook). I would love to hook up to them, but the logistics are daunting...

But...I will email you if I can work something out - it sounds like an amazing club (aside from the Hung and Northern prep stuff).

Cheers - kevin

Formal class times are posted here:

They meet at other times as well. If you work out your schedule to get to London, let them/me know and we can see about meeting up.
