This is the only Shuai Jiao (Chinese wrestling) division in NYC this year.

There will be Shuai Jiao Jackets to borrow if wrestlers, push-hand practitioners would like to participate as well.

When in NYC for the tournament (October 12), we suggest staying in Flushing, Queens: “Downtown Flushing is the largest urban center in Queens, and home to the second largest Chinatown in New York City”.

It will be a short commute to the tournament. Flushing offers a great deal of culture and better value than Manhattan.

Why:
Shifu Zhang, student of the famous Shifu Li Bao Ru, is an experienced competitor and teacher of Beijing style Shuai Jiao. He will instruct in true tournament skills and techniques not “cheats”. There will be no “concepts”, tricks or mysticism, just hard work and good teaching. Even if you can’t attend the tournament, don’t miss this. This seminar is meant to add to your art at every level of experience.
