A few months ago a writer named Nissi Icasiano from Rappler.com contacted me for an article.

I was a little surprised about his questions and then I thought to myself...sure why not?

Here's his work...and many thanks to him:
Onassis Parungao: the first Filipino MMA fighter

EDIT = I just noticed some errors in the article:
The author should have let me proof his article before he posted.

- State Champion is NOT correct, I have too much respect for wrestling to let this slide. It should say: "Wrestling Team Co-Capt. Team State Champions, Bronze Medal individual"

- My dad was not in the US navy During WWII. The fact is it should say he served in the US NAVY "AFTER WWII" only because in the early days after the war...the US did not allow young Filipinos to become fully enlisted sailors until about 7 years after the war was over.

Congrats O! That's really cool. :D

But he missed the best part of the story...the greasy hair and the vampire fangs. ;)
