Qi Xing Quan= Energy Mind Fist?

Never heard of this one before.

Parts seem more like CLF with the long whipping energy. Also, I notice in the opening salute that he did what seemed like a praying mantis hook.

It's "7 Star Fist".

Hung Ga also has some extended, whippy, circular strikes similar to CLF. Perhaps there was some common cross-pollination that occurred at some point. There is relationship between the two systems. But although some movements bear similarities, the flavor is still very much Hung Ga and not CLF.
