Our school(Street Tough) as well as 2 of Matt Thorntons students took part in an NHB competition on Saturday night.It was actually closer to Vale Tudo with the only rules being no biting or eye gauging.
There were 3,5 minute rounds.
1.Niel Diesel v Ryan Hassan
School - Street Tough - Fight Club
Style - Vale Tudo - Submission Grappling
Weight - 165 pounds - 165 pounds
Niel won the match in approx 3 minutes with a traingle choke submission.
2.Craig v Arthur Stevens
School - Street Tough - Fighting Arts Institute
Style - Vale Tudo - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Weight - 139 pounds - 137 pounds
Craig won the match in approx 2 minutes via KO from punches.
3.Gavriel Schneider v Troy Hassan
School - Advanced Combat Institute - Fight Club
Style - Ninjitsu - Sub Grappling
Weight - 154 pounds - 154 pounds
Hassan won with an armbar from the guard.
Gavriels elbow was popped as he tried to fight the armbar and didn't tap at first.
4.Mikey Schultz v Andre Koekemoer
School - Street Tough - Shaolin Academy
Style - Vale Tudo - Shaolin Kung Fu
Weight - 196 pounds - 188 pounds
Mikey won the fight in approx 2 min via reff stoppage due to mounted punching.
5.Bobby Kriaganidis v An NHB Fighter form Ireland

Bobby won the fight via mounted punches in approx 3 minutes.

Forrest won the match with a rear naked choke in approx 4min.
Interstingly enough Wiehen is a wrestling champion and at the start of the match lifted Forrest up high and slammed him into the matt dislocating his shoulder,Forrest fought on and won the match with his shoulder out.
