I study Han Shi Yi Quan in Sacramento, California with Martin Wong. Martin is a former student of Sam Tam (yi quan) and Henry Look (guang ping yang taiji, hsing i, ba gua). I studied taiji and hsing i with Henry until I came to Martin 16 months ago.
Here are some videos of what we do.

Chinese martial arts don't use monkey/caveman muscle power, use snake engine.
Weightlifting will surely destroy snake engine and be defeat.

No, you get yi chuan.
You and your mother need to train harder and smarter.

Not sure what snake engine is, but I do barbell and kettlebell lifting a couple times a week. Stronger is always better.

That's an interesting observation, I will have to see if I'm doing that when I'm training. Not sure if hamstring curls is the answer to that, though

It's called sarcasm.
If you want to laugh at snake engine, you can peek in the Wing Chun forum if you dare.

Sorry, I didn't catch the sarcasm on that. I don't dare enter the WC forum here, I've seen what gets posted there.
