Passing of Bak Mei sifu Kwong Man Fong

Wow, I'm surprised that no one posted the passing of Bak Mei sifu Kwong Man Fong here (it's been on Facebook). He was the first sifu to openly teach Bak Mei in NYC back in the 70's. A true pioneer.

I checked the KMF Pak Mei websites and they don't list his passing either. If I'm wrong with this information, please advise.

I was waiting for confirmation from someone reliable in that circle, although one of the facebook posts I saw was from one of our freelance contributors, and it's unlikely he would post if if he hadn't confirmed it. Nevertheless, when it comes to RIP posts, I like to have a personal connection, given my position.

Anyway, I'm glad that you went ahead and posted this, SifuYui. Sorry you had to be the bearer of bad tidings, but I'm grateful that you posted this here for our membership.

I never met Kwong Man Fong. Condolences to his family and friends.

I'm not sure of his religious beliefs and what he believed comes after so I'll say I am sorry he is gone and sad for the lose his family must feel.
