China's first consumer four-wing drone, which has variable structure as well as is easy to be folded and contained, TRANSDRONE A4 will soon be released in Beijing. Li Xiaoyu, CEO of AheadX said that the market of consumer drone in the next five years would reach $67.3 billion, and the competition in this circle would be very fierce.
The drones in start-up phase now are rarely practical, and most of them are even not qualified to be played as toys, says by Li Xiao. “This situation can be reluctantly accepted in start-up phase. The drones, acting as toys and educational tools, will definitely not dominate the future market. Eventually, the drone market needs to be led by products and corporate which really solve the practical problems.
The design of TRANSDRONE A4 is different from the traditional drones, and has the size of 288 * 204 * 71 mm after being folded. It is known that the body structure of drone, especially a variable structure, is the major difficulty to the consumer drone at present stage. After overcoming many difficulties, the R&D team of AheadX successfully made a new drone, controlling its size after being folded as small as a piece of A4 paper, which is the origin of the product model. Any ordinary backpack can be its containing box, and the weight of only 1500 grams allows its host to easily make a journey without delay.

Equipped with automatic anti-jamming controller, TRANSDRONE A4 is able to fly safely in extreme conditions. Moreover, professional cameras, such as gopro3, gopro4 and other cameras can be installed on TRANSDRONE A4 readily, which can be connected with mobile phones through the WIFI, so as to realize a variety of professional or interesting additional functionality, such as real-time transmission of high quality images, real-time monitoring of aircraft condition, intelligent course orientation and change, etc.
