Dux is a fake, so if he's suing VanDamme, VanDamme should sue him back for lying about ninjutsu credentials.

African Tiger: I believe it was soldier of fortune who ran an article on Dux. The author had researched him and discovered that he had never worked for the CIA as he claimed.

It was later found out that the trophy he claims he recieved for winning the Kumites was actually made by a local business about five blocks from where he lived. He never set any martial arts speed record, and it appears as though most of his history has been fabricated.

C'mon, a "kumite" in Hong Kong? Whats so funny is that if you go to a karate tournament they have kumite (sparring) and kata (forms.)

I read the write up on DUx in Soldier of Fortune-God what a sad sack.

Joe, with a good defense lawyer, any contract can be destroyed.

Family members challenge wills after a person dies sometimes. Just because you sign your will saying you are going to leave these people with these items doesn't mean they will get them. Someone else in the family might sue for it.

Like Joe Blow (no pun since your name is joe) has $100,000,000. He leaves $50,000,000 to his wife, $25,000,000 to his only brother, and $25,000,000 to his only son. The brother might sue the wife and get the other $50,000,000.

Sad really that even wills can be destroyed. Your final wish and who you want to leave your possession might not even recieve them.

Anyone know if its true that Chuck Berry, host of the old Gong Show, was also a CIA assassin?

No, but Donna Douglas (played Elly May on "Beverly Hillbillies") was really a man.

Not sure if it is true or not about Chuck Berry, but I do know there will be a film out soon on the subject. I think the film is called "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" and is set to come out in the spring I believe.

I thought this case was over already...I seem to remember seeing a Frank Dux case on CourtTV a while back and he lost. I thought it was the Van Damme case.

Anyone who has done a little research can easily see that Dux is a whacko. From sources I have seen, this guy was discharged from military service for "delusions of grandeiur" and this was before he even completed basic training. Also, his "speed records" are so thin they are transparent. I seem to recall Dux claiming to have a world record roundhouse kick of something like 73 mph. What record can he possibly hold since Bill "Superfoot" Wallace has been clocked at over 90 mph for the same kick?

Chuck Berris. Chuck Berry played guitar, Chuck Berris...well, I'm not sure what he did other than the gong show.

I started a thread about the dux case a few months ago. I think there were some links to articles about the case in it.

That's what this space alien told me last time I was abducted!!!

Dammm,, Those darn Black helocopters are flying over my house again!!!

Ps,

By the way, "I" Shot Kennedy!! Never mind the fact that he died before I was born, don't forget I know space aliens!!!! :p

Those that are sucessful are also the biggest failures. the difference between them and the rest of the failures is this, they keep getting up over and over again, until they succeed. "The more they try, the more they fail, BUT, the more they try & fail, the more opertunity they have to succeed, and succeed they do!!"

Its too bad that Frank Dux is such a nut-job. I remember back in the late eighties when Bloodsport hit video. My friends and I would go to the arcade every saturday and play Streetfighter (the FIRST one) and Final Fight, then we'd get Chinese to go, rent Bloodsport, watch it over and over, then go outside, put on the Century gear, and proceed to beat the crap out of each other. Good times, good times....

you can still have those good times, but now you have quite a myriad of amazing van damme gems to choose from.
