I downloaded a song by that band In Extremo called KrummavĂ*sur. Before I said they didn't have any songs in Icelandic, but I guess they have one :)

If you want the lyrics they're here (http://www.inextremo.de/_content_e/disco_6.html#). Also there you can hear a sample of the song, but it's crappy .ra quality. I have the .mp3, it's all good.

They sure are expanding their language base...

It's like an old folk song, taught in all elementry schools, got a kinda dark sound to it. But the way i understand it it's just a song about a birds struggle to live through the winter.

Krummi = a raven
VĂ*sur = song/melody/poet

Still kinda hard to explain Krummi, it means raven but it's more of a personalization of the bird, it's not like saying "A raven" it's more like a nickname for a specific bird, like "Ravey" or something like that :)

wow, Iceland is cool. How are the chicks up there? Are they hot? You guys all have the same genes up there, so I figured that I could add a little diversity to the gene pool. Ho HO HO.

Thanks QeySuS. Yeah, most of their songs are old folk tales or traditional songs or stories, in different languages.

Thanks for the translation.
