Here's our JUL+AUG 2012 cover story (http://www.kungfumagazine.com/magazine/article.php?article=1047) on Yu Chenghui and his development of shuangshoujian (http://www.martialartsmart.com/45-39cs.html).

Here is our web obituary: Grandmaster Yu Chenghui 1939–2015 (http://www.kungfumagazine.com/ezine/article.php?article=1234). We ran a completely different obituary in print in our NOV+DEC 2015 issue (http://www.kungfumagazine.com/ezine/index.php?p=magazine&article=1251).

Thanks for posting, Gene. I didn't realize there was a production 2 handed Chinese longsword available for purchase. That is a must have for me as it is my favorite weapon of choice. Will be ordering one of those from MAM as soon as I can. :)

...that's really the 'official' reason why I'm here. ;)

The two-handed jian I posted above is our middle weight one. Personally, I think it's got the best balance for practice. MartialArtsMart.com also carries a lighter spring steel one (http://www.martialartsmart.com/45-39sp.html) (although that is out of stock at the moment) and a rather heavy one (http://www.martialartsmart.com/45-58cs.html). There are a few more two-handers, like the Spring Autumn Pearwood jian (http://www.martialartsmart.com/45s-50.html) and the Damascus jian (http://www.martialartsmart.com/45-1013.html), but those aren't really for regular practice.
