View Full Version : 5 True Horror Stories

I started listening to these a month or two ago. IMO, 'Dark Waters' is one of the best true horror story narrators on YouTube. All of these stories are disturbing, but IMO, the creepiest one starts at around 10:43. He has several others out, but I chose this one mainly because some of his other vids are broken up with lots of commercials embedded(?) in them.

Note:
He narrates the stories as they were given to him, so there is *strong language and disturbing content*.

Gene:
If some of the language is deemed too offensive for KFM, I will delete this.

Greetings Jimbo,

That story was good. There are sound frequencies being used that caused me to hear my apartment doorbell ring 30 seconds before it actually happened. I really don't need that. I prefer the simple story.

Hi, mickey.

Glad you liked that story. He has even creepier stories in some of his other vids.

Not exactly sure what you mean by sound frequencies in the vid. I haven't personally experienced anything odd like that in connection with it.

Here's another collection of 10 more stories.

The first 70 seconds or so is only the intro. I'd personally skip over it. Also note that some of the stories contain some brief sound effects to enhance the atmosphere, and although sometimes a bit annoying, they are not 'glitches' or defects. BTW, I have no connection to or stake in this YouTube channel. I simply enjoy the stories and find them interesting and a bit disturbing.

The stories begin at:

1:20
5:46
11:17
15:47
18:55
21:57
30:30
32:32
37:39
45:52

1st story begins at: 0:00

2nd story begins at: 5:00

3rd story begins at: 7:53

Believe or not. Either way, take these stories as entertainment.

I listened to this one. Pretty good Jimbo.

Made me think about listening to the old time well it was the early 70's radio mystery shows with the special effects like doors closing and foot steps and gun shots. Used to listen to them with my grandfather. Then of Scouts.

Anyway, that fellow tells a pretty good story.

I need to get up early. Night all.

Glad you liked it, Billy.

We must have heard the same or similar radio shows back in the '70s. I especially remember one in particular, that had a creaking door, footsteps and sinister music in the intro. I think those were mystery stories or something. I remember hearing those with my dad while riding along in his work van.

Here are more narrated accounts.

The stories begin at: 0:00, 5:31, and 7:59.

Thanks Jimbo. Ive been listening to this why reading some azzhole that keeps posting about how change is going to happen be merely applying the laws already in effect. Most dullards think it is stuff is Trump tricks. Or think they are legally smart. Citing human rights. Guess what. OUR LIVES MATTER ! We can arrest you and deport you and supply you with your court date and allow you sufficient entrance time to pled your case when your hearing date arrives.

ps. It will only happen to bad guys. Most of you are going to be fine.

Glad you like listening to them, Billy.

I like listening to (allegedly) true accounts like these due to personal experiences I've had in my life off and on since around 4 years old. So to me, most of these accounts are not outlandish at all. Whether they're actually true or not, I don't know; but you can kind of tell when some seem more credible. These stories seem fairly credible seem to me, for the most part. Most of the experiences I've had have been positive, especially over the last 20 years or so.

My last really "creepy" experience happened over 20 years ago, and on two occasions other people were present and experienced the same things. Interestingly enough, after those two incidents happened, none of us ever discussed them with each other afterwards.

TMatt should weigh in on the skinwalker stories. That man is an expert on a multitude of topics related to Native Americans.

Interesting account. For whatever reason, from 1:35 to 5:10 the video speeds up a little and her voice goes all helium/chipmunk. It's still understandable.

This last one was particularly scary. This stuff is true people. It is also multicultural by many different names. Look my research into this is consider anyone that would kill family for no other reasons than : "I am mad at you " some sort of demonfu--ck. Further research I have been able to uncover this should drop anyone that is under some demon skinwalker spells. I know plenty of hunters cant wait for some weirdo to wolf up on them.

Hunt in packs. We are the most enduring land animal to worry about. Drive them to exhaustion. And then watch them split. Shoot them 2 more times in the head once down. Weve all seen movies and these things may get back up. Its true. Make sure they cant.

LOL.

People read that and think omg that's just wrong. BUT that's what was done to much of America and its people. Gangs packing up and attacking . Why is it so wrong for us to return in kind ? Because we have to be the bigger man ? All that means is your casket costs more because it needs to be extra large. No. No more.

Now on a serious note. Listen to your local authorities.

Thanks, Billy.

IMO, this episode of Dogman Encounters is still the best. The story is well-told with attention to details. It IS long-winded, but is a very credible-sounding account. Of particular note to me is Khat Hansen's mention of two groups of "Bigfoot" or Sasquatch creatures which she had some interactions with prior to when this account happened, and a possible uneasy relationship or territorial rivalry they supposedly had with this "Dogman" or "werewolf-type" creature. So although the story is long-winded, IMO it's worth listening to the entire episode.

When I first began listening to these episodes a couple years ago, it took me a bit to get used to the host, Vic Cundiff. At first I thought he sounded almost mechanical, but I soon realized that he's a great host. Unlike MANY radio hosts, he actually allows his guests to tell their stories without unnecessary interruptions.

Once again, believe or don't believe. If you are one of the latter, then take it as entertainment.

Listening now. I certainly believe at least some of this stuff had to be true at least one time or another. Like dragons. Every place seems to have legends about them. I think what it may be is just any prehistoric dinosaur that possibly survived the ice age and coexisted with man for a short period of time before eventually dying off. Our atmosphere had gone through changes as well. They probably could not evolve fast enough to keep up. But that may be why some dragons were good and some bad. Some dinosaurs were essentially non aggressive unless provoked flight/fight. Some where predators.

But I also believe the .700 nitro will divide any demon.

Thanks for posting that, Billy. Interesting. Kind of reminds me of Timothy Treadwell, the "Grizzly Man" who lived around Grizzlies part of the year, but ended up getting killed and eaten (along with his girlfriend). This wolf guy takes it even further, even adopting wolf behaviors. But it makes you wonder just how close and accepted among wild animals a human can actually get. IMO, the danger is always there. Problems occur when humans forget that these are wild animals, and while there may be a level of familiarity and acceptance, a human will never really be a wolf, a bear or an ape. When humans lose that natural respect for wild animals and almost take them for granted is when **** can happen.

A little break from skinwalker stories. Some of these stories are even more horrific. In some of the stories, the negative aspects of human nature are often monstrous enough. IMO, the second story is mostly depressing, but most of the others are very interesting. I found story number 5 particularly creepy. But not every story has a paranormal angle.

The stories begin at:

I think the guy is a dumb fu---ck myself. But its is his life. Me, I stay clear of wild beasts as much as possible.

But yes it is his ability to learn and understand a language of sorts that I found interesting and perhaps a link to dogmen legend.

An interesting interview with 'Dark Waters', the narrator of most of the true horror story videos in this thread. IMO, the best online true horror story narrator by far, and pretty much the only one I listen to anymore. In this interview, he mentions how he vets stories, and mentions some of his own background involving the paranormal, as well as other stories.

As always, whether you believe any of these stories or not, just take them as entertainment.

The interview begins from approximately 1:45:

Imo, this is the best vid so far in this thread. It's a little over 2 hours, but if you're interested in the paranormal from the perspective of Navajo rangers, it's well worth the time:
