This is what I saw the first time I saw that diagram.

The first time I saw the tree of life as a young boy the Malkuth was not connected but separated.

Sorry, the yellow spot in the vortex diagram numeral wise is zero. Old math used 0-9. Later replaced by 1-10. Depending on local, understanding, etc.

So still 10.

There is another tree of life that added an eleventh Sephirot. 10 is the traditional.
