The plan to bring in a new labor force was made decades ago. So this us/them stuff that is going on is silly. Even the BS talk that they (Mexicans/Latinos) do the work that Blacks won't do is silly. A good percentage of the border crossers are not Mexicans, but Central Americans from Guatemala, Honduras, etc., etc. Also, lots coming from the Syria, Iraq, Iran, Haiti, China, etc., too.

What really annoys me is when people cross illegally and are given immediate benefits, when the system makes it very difficult for U.S. citizens. That is not right at all. I could not sneak into any country and be automatically granted the acceptance that many illegals are granted, and nobody in those countries would fight for my right to sneak in and be *given* automatic citizenship. Yet people expect that when they come here illegally, and, by God, they are granted just that.

I have NO problem with immigrants. My grandparents were immigrants here, more than 100 years ago. My dad's father got here before 1890(!). But there has to be an effective way to vet immigrants coming in now. And simply looking someone in the eye and asking, "Are you a terrorist, and do you have any terrorist ties?" is not the way to do it. In fact, it's retarded to expect anyone would be honest about that if their intentions are evil.
