I am just coming back from vacation (still not 'officially' back) and heard this sad news.

GM Look was always a gentleman and showed me great respect even back when I was a fledgling freelance writer. Such a loss to the wulin.

I met GM Look once at a tourney in Sacramento in '03. A friend of mine was learning Xingyi under him and introduced us. Yes, he was a gentleman.

Condolences,

I hope he does rest in peace. I remember his pained lament in IKF over how a student he taught so thoroughly turned on him and even lied to his face about doing so.
