Keep running. What do you do when you hit that 2 mile mark?

I run three miles in the morning. For me it can be done. But I start to get out of breath at the two mile mark and after that I kinda lug along. Becomming out of breath at the last mile makes it the hardest. I want to be able to increase my running distance.

My brother in law had really bad asthma as a kid. His olds sent him to singing lessons. He used to fill his lungs as much as he could and just hold it then expel it as slowly as possible while counting, trying to reach higher numbers each time. At 13 (after about 2 years) he had the lung capacity of an athletic adult male. Made a s**tload of difference to him. Give it a try.
