快报记者联系上计春华儿时在杭州习武时的师傅、国家级武术教练陈顺安，"哎，太可惜了，那么年轻……"陈顺安说，计春华向来身体不错，三个月前因背部刺痛难忍去治疗，查出肺癌晚期。"他这个人，要强了一辈子，如果不是痛到忍不了，还不会去看。"

2012年，在抗日电视剧《毒牙》饰演悍匪的匪首--乌鸦洞大当家祈杰三。

2014年，在田七导演的公益电影《金瓯》中饰演一位畲族便衣刑警雷霆。

This is really sad. I equally respected his martial ability and cinematic work. There was not much talk about his Shaolin other than to say that he was a disciple of Wang Xinde. Besides the abilities he was known for, Ji Chunhua had awesome leaping ability and he made it look so easy.
