Oh, I get it. The sun is too bright and he's trying to catch a small terrier.

Seems dubious to the least, I dont see any decent information on his lineage, so I wouldnt give it too much credence.

Maybe you could post a question to Gene Ching about him, as some of his merchandise is in the martialartsmart here on Kung Fu @ Qigong magazine.

From his product list...

Taiji 13 Forms
This is the oldest style passed on by Zhang Shan Feng. It had been only taught to the royal family in the past. This form mixes the science of Alchemy, philosophies of Taoism, the I-Ching, ancient Chinese Medicine and Wushu. The demonstration also includes defending techniques by two persons. Master Zhang performs this in two styles-soft (health) and hard (project power, combat) style. A must for both beginners and advanced students.

This quote alone makes me worried. IF you accept the legend of Chan San Feng, then you might remember the fact that he continuously refused to teach the royal family, preferring instead to retreat to Wu Dang mountain...

As for asking Gene because the mag carries this guys stuff... Come on now. :)

I remember reading an article this guy wrote. What struck me most about it was that he had some really cool outfits in all the pictures. They were really impressive. Wouldn't it be nice if all qigong masters dressed cool?

I did ask gene this is what he sent me......
Dear Michael,
We produced his video series, so you won't get an unbiased endorsement here. I personally have never met the man, but I've heard plenty of intriguing stories. His videos are very popular and I worked closely with some of his students, who were all very courteous. He is very well respected in China. You might check out a few of vids to be be sure...
