THE WEARY POET: Take Another Look At Xu Haofeng’s New Wuxia Film (https://filmcombatsyndicate.com/the-weary-poet-stills/)
Xu Haofeng's new wuxia flick, THE WEARY POET, stars Chen Kun and Zhou Xun and will release in 2019!

Last month saw the emergence of new stills for yet another in what hopefully won’t be as elusive in feature films as was the quietly released The Hidden Sword. Enter The Weary Poet from director Xu Haofeng and with a cast that lists Zhou Xun and actor Chen Kun in their first film together in six years.
Swordsman Wen Sanchun (Zhou Xun) is on the run from assassins, and is saved by wandering hero Ye Motian (Chen Kun). Together, they escape to the armoury, the stronghold of Anda, a Yuan rebel commander and Ye Motian’s foster father.
It is later revealed that Wen Sanchun is a trusted subordinate of the crown prince, and is here to persuade the rebels to surrender. Now a wanted criminal, Ye Motian and Wen Sanchun engage in a deadly struggle.
Also starring are Song Jia, Geng Le and Huang Jue with a release date expected in 2019.
