I knew Grandmaster Lacey. He used to come by Lam Kwoon when I worked there to buy weapons and visit with my first Sifu, Wing Lam (http://www.kungfumagazine.com/ezine/article.php?article=1419). His school is here in Fremont, near Tiger Claw HQ (https://www.tigerclaw.com/home.php), and we occasionally crossed paths at the mall or some where. He had been in the hospital last I had heard.

Sad to hear about the passing of Master Vince Lacey. Seems like we are at the end of an era as of late in the Kung Fu community in the U.S. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_KM7nNCZgg

Oh man... another martial great passed on. Sifu Lacey and his son Shane were a big presence in the martial community for me, growing up in the Tri-cities. Vince Lacey was a true martial tiger and Shane always represented at the tournaments. May the Buk Sing Choy Li Fut lineage be carried on strong in this generation and the ones to come!

PS shouldn't this be posted in the Northern styles forum? Buk Sing was the Northern variant of Choy Li Fut, after all ;-)
