"Hands from the Heart" is a short documentary about Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu, a traditional Chinese martial art system allegedly developed by Wong Long in the late Tang or early Ming Dynasties, based on the movements of the Praying Mantis. "Hands from the Heart" focuses on the lives and martial art experiences of some of the most prolific instructors of the Northern Praying Mantis Style. The documentary features Lee Kam Wing, Henry Chung, Sun Deyao, Carl Albright, John Cheng, Brian Bateman, Andre Johnson, Austin Cheng, and many other instructors and students.
